Happy New Year everyone! I wanted to get a lot more videos of childhood games out the last few days but it's been a busy time and I've had a few technical issues. You might be wondering why I've uploaded a playthrough of Croc 2 before the first game. When I was a kid I remember playing part of Croc 1 on a computer for sale at a store and having a blast while my parents did all their shopping. I couldn't ever find where to buy the game since then, nor did I even know what it was called but then a few years one day I did find a game in bargain bin with the exact character on the cover I played as on that computer at that store. I thought it might have been the same game so I bought it and the played it. It of course wasn't Croc 1 but I still loved the game so much and played it many many times. I did find Croc 1 years later but Croc 2 was always the game of my childhood which is why I wanted to show it on my channel during this time of playthroughs of games for nostalgia. The only thing sucky about this game is there aren't any manual camera controls and I remember it took a lot of playthroughs to realize that the back/down button could be used as steering for Croc so navigating breakable platforms (especially boxes) became much easier. This isn't a platinum run of the game as I could only find a PC version that doesn't have achievements. I'm still trying to find a PSX version that will work with RetroAchievments and then I will record a run with that too and of course a run of Croc 1.
