We’re first-time visitors, and Oslo didn’t fail to impress us. This is a two-part compilation of our trip, capturing moments that felt meaningful—even with limited time. In this first chapter, we explore the city center: trams glide past Jernbanetorget, the Tiger watches quietly, and the rhythm of the capital begins. Time was short, but we managed to visit just enough landmarks—the National Theatre, the university buildings, Oslo Cathedral, and a stroll down Karl Johans gate past the Grand Hotel and Eidsvolls plass. These places hold stories of celebration, memory, and everyday life. We also admired the mighty Akershus Fortress and Oslo City Hall—home of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony and its massive murals. We witnessed the Changing of the Royal Guard, walked through the peaceful Royal Garden, and stood before the Royal Palace. Though photos weren’t allowed inside, the experience left a lasting impression. Chapter Two takes us further: to the striking Opera House, Munch’s unforgettable Scream, the vibrant streets of Grünerløkka, and many other places that make Oslo a truly remarkable destination. Please stay tuned and follow along as we continue this journey. 00:05 The Introduction 00:23 The beginning - Oslo Central Station to Karl Johan Gate 01:10 Oslo Cathedral 03:45 Oslo City Hall 06:30 Akershus Fortress 07:15 Changing of the Guard at the Royal Palace 09:15 Royal Garden Music Credit — Cinematic Loud Trailer Background Music by kalsstockmedia from https://pixabay.com/music/main-title-...
