I was lucky enough to get my hands on the new VIA360 device by New World Medical, and it has definitely improved my approach to canaloplasty and goniotomy procedures. The device is incredibly easy to use and feels comfortable in hand, giving the surgeon complete control throughout the surgery. What really stands out with this device is the catheter tip. Unlike other devices that have a single opening, the VIA360 has seven—one at the distal tip and six side ports. This unique design creates a novel dispersal pattern of the OVD, which helps achieve better precision and tissue management. The ActiveInject™ Technology, which allows for independent fluid delivery regardless of catheter movement, is also a key feature, ensuring more efficient, controlled procedures.
