Documenting my Creative Journey - Vlog 01 - A little bit about me

These are just some of my current thoughts on life and the future of video production. I really enjoy creating art and I do intend to continue my creative journey despite any changes or disruptions the industry may face. It is true that I am concerned for the rise of AI in creative spaces. After all, graphic Design was once a massive industry too. Making videos about myself, or featuring me, isn't something I am very comfortable with yet...which is why I am trying to do it more. It is the best way to catalogue my journey and my creative processes and at the end of the day no one really gives a s**t anyway. This year, 2025, I want to dedicate more of my time to teaching others and working on passion projects. I enjoy working with clients but I want to put more energy into making stuff for myself and bringing my kids ideas to life. I don't have much for expectations this year. I'm just going to continue following my curiosity, documenting my journey and my process and enjoy the ride. These skills have been and continue to be acquired over thousands of hours of trial and error, research and practice. As an example, a short 10 second clip could be a few hours of my time to complete, from concept to render. Another 10 second project could take two weeks of planning, design, animation, texturing, sound design and more. No two projects are the same. This is why details are very important when planning a project.
