Blue Heaven to Bear Trax to Snowshed Crossover to Great Eastern is a ski run of varying difficulties located at Killington Ski Resort. The run is top-to-bottom, or "Peak to Creek" as it is called at Killington, running from the summit of Killington Peak, the highest point of the resort, down to the Skyeship Base Area, the lowest point of the resort. The run starts off the back of the peak, exiting to the right onto Blue Heaven, an intermediate trail. Blue Heaven starts off with a small drop and then narrows, running down the mountain gently until it reaches the bottom of the South Ridge Quad. I passed straight by the top of the lift, staying to the slight right at the next intersection to ski onto Bear Trax. The upper half of Bear Trax is rated as intermediate and is narrow and mellow. The lower half of the trail continues much the same way, however, it is rated as beginner. Eventually, the trail arrives at a large intersection where I stayed to the sharp left to ski onto Snowshed Crossover, another beginner trail. The trail traverses across Skye Peak, crossing a couple of trails, even passing underneath Skyeburst in a tunnel, until it eventually merges onto Great Easter, another beginner trail. Great Eastern starts out wide but eventually narrows. The trail gently weaves its way down the mountains, featuring straight sections, sharp curves, flat spots, and small dips. Passing by condos and under roads until it eventually reaches the Skyeship Base Area. Killington Ski Resort is a ski resort located in Killington, Vermont. The ski resort is located in the Central part of the state and is located just East of Rutland. The ski resort is the largest in the East in terms of skiable area and is the tallest ski area in New England in terms of vertical drop. The ski resort is comprised of 6 distinct different peaks: Killington, the largest of the peaks, provides great views and has a variety of intermediate and advanced terrain, both groomed and ungroomed; Snowdon is home to the ski area's only bubble lift and is home to mostly wide-open, intermediate groomed trails; Ramshead, one of the more family-friendly areas, is home to lots of beginner and easier intermediate terrain, as well as a few terrain parks; Snowshed, the ski resort's main beginner area; Skye which is home to a large variety of trails including Superstar, one of the most famous trails at Killington which is known for both hosting the FIS Race in November and often being the final trail to close in the East, and Great Eastern, a very long winding green trail; and Bear Peak, which is most famous for its steep mogul runs but is also home to a variety of terrain. The ski resort is owned by Powdr Corp, which also owns nearby Pico. Killington lift tickets are also valid at Pico but not vice-versa. The ski resort is a partner on the Ikon Pass. As of the 2021-2022 season, Ikon Pass holders have access to 7 unrestricted days at Killington/Picco, while Ikon Base Pass holders have access to 5 days of skiing at Killington/Pico with blackout days.
