Jon B. is a songwriter, producer, vocalist and instrumentalist who brings a distinctive voice and focus to contemporary R&B. A Rhode Island native raised in California, he grew up around music and began combining the sounds of '70s soul with hip-hop productions for his 1995 debut album, Bonafide. Jon's duet with Babyface, "Someone to Love," went gold, and his next album, COOL RELAX, featured the 2Pac collaboration, "Are U Still Down?" In the time since, he has consistently released albums, singles, and collaborations with legends like Nas, Tank and Ol' Dirty Bastard, and he has also written for the Spice Girls, For Real, and Toni Braxton. Jon has 800K monthly listeners on Spotify due to perennial hits like "They Don't Know," "Don't Talk" and "Calling On You," and his most recent single, "Priceless (Remix)" dropped earlier this year. Tune in later this week for a BMI Jam Session from Fly By Midnight! BMI's Jam Sessions feature two- to three-song sets by some of our most talented songwriters and composers.
