Jan 2025 Edit: Mid 2024, the manufacturer ceased to be and these machines are no longer made. While their efforts were honourable, this was predicted, as discussed in this review and comments. Many commenters were hostile, rejected the facts presented, and knee-jerk responded that this review was 'biased'. In fact, it simply challenged the bold marketing claims and evidenced them to be false or misleading at best, and explained why. It was because claims were confirmed to be false and misleading that I was so hostile. I don't accept that people should be misled, and calling this out should be seen universally as a positive thing, not a bad thing, as some clearly interpreted. Furthermore, comparing against a product measured to perform best at the time isn't evidence of bias towards that product. That was a logical failure that is rampant throughout the comments. The concerns I raised in the review and comments are almost certainly contributing factors to this product's failure. It's also worth pointing out that the claim of being able to replace any part of the machine—potentially a buying factor for many customers—isn't true if parts are no longer made, as is the case now. What are these customers going to do now if they need a new battery or something breaks? Worth rewatching this review to understand why not to interpret what's said negatively, or auto-dismiss factual points being made. -------------------------------- Review of the Lupe Pure Cordless vacuum cleaner. This was not gifted for free by the company for a favourable review. Erratum: @ 11:31 It is possible to remove the shroud without tools (not clear enough in the manual). This is still a step backwards, as the best designs self-clean. Secondly, it's also possible to turn off the brush bar on hard floors, thereby reducing the incredible noise it creates (although some suggest particles fall out after turning off if you do this).
