How to use older lens (45P) on the Hasselblad X2Dii

You could use 45p with electronic shutter. But read out speed is slow and there will be rolling shutter issues. There won't be autofocus also. The better method would be to update the firmware on the 45P. But you can't update the firmware using the X2Dii. You have to do it via the PC. STEPS: 1. Visit Hasselblad website here to download the firmware for 45P: QR code takes you there directly: https://cdn.hasselblad.com/firmware/X... 2. Connect your camera to your computer with the USB-C cable 3. Select Data storage mode. 4. Copy the firmware file into the SSD drive of the Camera 5. Disconnect the cable after ejecting/dismounting the drives 6. Mount the 45p lens on X2Dii. 7. Open the camera menu, Click on General, scroll down to service, under lens firmware, click Check for update. Select the correct file: X-Lens_v0_1_36.cim 8. Click on Update, and when the warning comes up to say 5 mins, click on Update again using the phyiscal button to the right of the screen. 9. Do not turn off the camera. 10. Update succeeded. Ready to be used. Click ok.
