One thing you'll keep seeing with this record is that we ran out of time and our wonderful managers at the time, Adam Schoenberg and Fred 'Bishop' Thomas pulled some strings, paid for studio time out of their own pockets and we were able to finish things.. annnnywho back to this song... It was originally a raw tune, because we ran out of time.. just chris and 1 acoustic track, no overdubs or anything... Anywho once Fred and Adam saved the day, we were able to do a few things here.. Mike Bateman layed down the coolest blues riffs randomly throughout the whole song, it was HILARIOUS.. we were cracking up everytime he ripped some notes .. too funny.. I was able to lay down some percussion on a keyboard live... no copy and pasting and i dont even think i had click track.. i just tapped away on the keys... the song wound up having an undeniable Christmas feel, which was NOT intended.. - john
