This is a new, extensive series I will be working on over time in GTA 5 Online, showcasing hundreds of rare street-spawn vehicles — including some that are well-known, and others you may not realise are rare at all. You may have noticed the “RARE+” tag in the title. This is the core focus of the series, and I hope you stick around to see what’s to come. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What “RARE+” Means Most players are already familiar with many of the rare vehicles found throughout GTA Online — especially if you’ve been playing for a long time. However, for newer players, or those who have moved to a new platform, these videos serve as a current, glitch-free reference showing that these rares are still obtainable today. In each video, I explain what makes the car rare, focusing primarily on: • Non-selectable (NPC-only) colors • How those colors are constructed • Interior props and prop combinations You may have heard people say: “You can just repaint that at LS Customs.” In some cases, that’s partially true — but many rare colors cannot be recreated at LS Customs or any other modification shop which also includes in car props. These are NPC-only colors, and once they are changed, they cannot be restored. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The “+” in RARE+ The “RARE” tag is used to help organise the series and give viewers a general idea of what to expect. The “+” represents the highest achievable rarity tier for that specific vehicle. This includes: • The rarest known color combination • Plus the maximum interior prop configuration that can naturally spawn with that vehicle You may already own one of these cars, but it may not be the highest-tier version possible. In these videos, I point out the specific interior props — such as drink holders, coffee cups, cigarettes, phone holders, air fresheners, and at times multiple props together — that elevate the vehicle to its top rarity tier. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ How Rare Colors Work In many cases (but not all), Rockstar creates rare colors by blending two existing colors, resulting in a finish that is not selectable in LS Customs. Occasionally, entirely new or unusual tints are used. I’ve gone through these colors carefully to: • Identify the closest LS base color • Determine the overlay or tint that creates the rare appearance • Note when a color does not closely match anything available in LS Customs ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Customisation & Personal Choice You might love the rare color shown — or you might not. That’s perfectly fine.
