HOUSTON (KIAH) — CW39 Houston is adding a new sports program: Htown Sports Talk, hosted by Brad Gilmore and Kim Davis, will debut Friday, Sept. 12, at 10 p.m. on CW39. From hometown roots to big-time moments, Htown Sports Talk is where the fan takes center stage. The show will spotlight Houston’s professional teams, college rivalries, and the national sports stories that impact our city. With a mix of insider analysis, lively debate, and fan-focused storytelling, the program gives viewers a fresh, authentic way to connect with the games they love. “Houstonians love their sports, and this new program is designed to celebrate that passion while delivering the kind of engaging, authentic, and locally focused programming that defines CW39,” said Humberto Hormaza, Vice President and General Manager of CW39 Houston. “Brad and Kim are trusted, respected voices in our market, and together they will provide viewers with a fresh take on Houston’s sports landscape every week.” Htown Sports Talk will air weekly on Friday nights at 10 p.m. with segments also available on CW39.com and on the station’s social media platforms. About the Hosts Brad Gilmore a Houston broadcaster, author, and producer, and is well known for his work on ESPN Radio’s The Hall of Fame with Booker T and CW39’s Spotlight. Kim Davis is a trailblazing sportscaster with more than three decades of experience covering local and national championship events. Davis is also the first African American woman to serve as a sports anchor in Houston. She has covered a variety of locally historic events including the Houston Rockets’ championship runs, Astros’ World Series victories, more than 10 Super Bowls, Final Fours, international tennis, and championship boxing.
