The big Western Wedding Road Trip rolls on, and this time we’re exploring the incredible Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park in Kansas! 🌵 This otherworldly spot is home to towering chalk formations, some rising as high as 100 feet, created over 80 million years ago when this region was covered by an inland sea. The stunning rock layers, made of Niobrara Chalk, are filled with fossils from ancient marine life like giant clams, sharks, and even mosasaurs! 🦈🦴 In this video, we hiked every trail in the park, from the Overlook Trail, which offers jaw-dropping panoramic views, to the Life on the Rocks Trail, where you can get up close to the unique plants and wildlife that thrive in this harsh yet beautiful environment. Little Jerusalem is a true hidden gem in the heart of Kansas, showcasing a rare landscape that feels more like another planet than the Great Plains. It’s also the largest Niobrara Chalk formation in the state and an important sanctuary for fragile ecosystems. Join me as I explore this epic destination on my solo journey to my wedding in Utah. This road trip has been full of amazing adventures, and Little Jerusalem was definitely one for the books! 🎥 Be sure to subscribe to follow the rest of the Western Wedding Road Trip and don’t forget to like, comment, and share if you’re as amazed by this park as I am!
