Checking out some normal non refrigerated foods that I stock up on and make a part of my normal diet. These items are affordable and last a long time. The way to stock up is to just grab a few extra items everytime you go the the store, before long you will have a good pantry full of food. It is also good to stock up on the staples of course for extra long term survival, on freeze dried meals, MRE's, and whatever else but just dont forget to start with the normal items you buy anyways and then move on to the other items after that.
