Since the community quarantine has been extended, here's a fun pizza recipe using canned tuna you can try at home! I got this idea because I only had canned tuna in my pantry and since the spicy tuna melt sandwich lockdown recipe I did last year was received well, I thought I'd make a pizza version of it :) Please enjoy! You can follow me on Instagram - @theawkwardkitchenph Thank you ♥ How to Make Spicy Tuna Recipe Preheated Oven: 200°C (392°F) Bake Time: 15 minutes (with fan/convection settings on) 18-20 minutes (without fan/convection setting) INGREDIENTS "*"= Notes/Remarks "links" = Ingredients/Tools/Products with links are directed to my affiliate links :) ~Spicy Tuna~ 2 pcs. CANNED TUNA, drained 78 g (1/3 cup) MAYONNAISE SRIRACHA / HOT SAUCE *add according to your spice preference. I like spicy foods a lot so I put 5 tbsp of sriracha. Also, the kind of hot sauce you'll use will depend because every brand will have different levels of spiciness to it :) SALT AND PEPPER, to taste *if you don't have time to make pizza dough or if you simply don't want to, you can use premade pizza crust, doughs or even a slice of bread (bake until cheese is melted) ~PIZZA DOUGH~ 240 g (2 cups) BREAD FLOUR, plus more for kneading *you can use All Purpose Flour *if you're using measuring cups, do the scoop and level method (scoop the flour to your measuring cup and level with a spatula) NEVER pack the flour in the measuring cups as you'll end up using more flour than needed. 8 g (2 tsp) SUGAR 7 g (2 1/4 tsp) INSTANT DRY YEAST (get it here: https://shopee.ph/universal-link/SAF-...) *if using ACTIVE DRY YEAST, use the same amount of ingredients and dissolve in lukewarm water. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes or until activated 3 g (1 tsp) SALT 3 g (1 tsp) GARLIC POWDER (get it here: https://shopee.ph/universal-link/McCo...) 3 g (1 tsp) ITALIAN SEASONING (get it here: https://shp.ee/tqfsyin) 177 ml (3/4 cup) WATER, lukewarm 30 ml (2 tbsp) OLIVE OIL 15 ml (1 tbsp) OLIVE OIL, for bowl *flour your work surface well *knead until dough feels smooth and elastic. It will feel tacky but it shouldn't stick to your hands and fingers *proof for 30-90 minutes or until doubled in size. The temperature in your kitchen will also affect the proofing time. If it's warm and humid, it'll proof faster.
