Shalom, to the body of Christ. In this powerful and history-filled lesson, we go deep into the Scriptures to uncover a question many are afraid to ask: Who are the enemies of God? Beginning with Psalm 83, we read the confederacy formed against Israel – Edom, Ishmaelites, Moab, Ammon, Amalek, Philistines, and Tyre – a united effort to "cut them off from being a nation." But the question is not just who they were... the question is where are they today? We trace the conflict back to Genesis 25:27 (KJV) – The struggle between Jacob and Esau that Began in the womb. The prophecy declared: "The elder shall serve the younger." From that moment, a generational hostility was born. Esau becomes the father of Edom (Genesis 36), and from his lineage comes Amalek, the nation that fought Israel in Exodus 17, prompting the Most High to declare: "The LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation." Using the Book of Jubilees and the Book of Jasher, we examine expanded historical accounts of the war between Jacob and Esau, the rise of Zepho, and the development of kingdoms that shaped world empires. We connect this lineage through Persia, Mesopotamia, and Rome – even examining the role of the Book of Esther and Haman the Agagite, and how this ancient hostility resurfaces in New Testament through figures like Herod the Great, an Edomite ruler installed by Rome, who sought to destroy the Messiah. We also examine the prophecy of the Book of Obadiah, where judgement is pronounced against Edom for pride and perpetual violence against Jacob. These ancient conflicts help us better understand the prophetic imagery in Daniel and Revelation – the beasts, horns, and global powers that rise and fall in opposition to the Most High's covenant. This lesson is not about emotion – it is about Scripture, prophecy, and understanding spiritual warfare from Genesis to Revelation. The Bible reveals that the battle is generational, political, and spiritual – but ultimately, it belongs to the Lord. "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." – Isaiah 59:19 (KJV) No matter how ancient the conflict or how powerful the opposition, Ahayah keeps His promises. The covenant stands. The remnant remains. And the Most High still rules in the kingdom.
