In detail, the following necessary installation steps are demonstrated: • Preparation step 1: check mold drawing (sensor location, installation method, cable routing, connector position) • Preparation step 2: check tool bore dimensions and depths • Preparation step 3: clean bores and tool surface • Installation step 1: fit tool-side contact elements • Installation step 2: prepare sensor installation in tool insert • Installation step 3: install sensor and contact element in tool insert • Installation step 4: fit tool insert into mold bolster • Installation step 5: consolidate cables and connectors • Sixth and last step: check sensor function!
