I built a custom digital map case using white oak and a 42” TV to create a DIY digital map table for Dungeons & Dragons and other TTRPGs. In this video, I walk through the entire digital battlemap display build from start to finish, showing the woodworking process, assembling the hardwood frame, mounting the TV, finishing the wood, and finally setting it up to display battlemaps, images, and video for a more immersive tabletop gaming experience with a VTT like Foundry, Owlbear Rodeo or Roll20. This is a full build showcase designed to show how everything comes together, with a separate step-by-step series available for anyone who wants to build their own digital map case.
