Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, located just minutes from downtown Nashville, Tennessee, is the 1,120-acre National Historic Landmark that served as the homeplace of our nation's 7th president, Andrew Jackson. Each year, more than 230,000 people visit the site, exploring the Greek Revival-style mansion that the Jacksons called home, strolling through the beautiful and historic garden, seeing the tomb where Jackson and his wife are laid to rest and exploring log cabins and fields where the enslaved lived and worked. The Andrew Jackson Foundation, which owns and operates The Hermitage, is committed to preserving this important piece of American history.
