Honestly, I don't like Uni-Vibes much. So I'm not about to spend daft money on a boutique clone - not while the Micro Vibe is around. This is a solidly built photocell-driven Uni-Vibe pedal that nails those swirly tones, and it'll do fine for me (although I'd like it even more if it had an expression pedal input). Here it is clean, with some heavy distortion before it and with some equally heavy distortion after it - you might be surprised by the difference.
