California Legistlators + US Conference of Mayors

CSH California invited us to Sacramento for an impact screening. They teamed up with Cal Budget Center, Steinberg Institute and United Ways of California to attract an audience that included some state legislators and staff. Earlier in the day we attended a legislative session on critical funding for statewide homeless services. We watched lawmakers in the world's fourth-largest economy work, and it was awesome. Two lawmakers on the hearing committee were also on the screening event panel, and one of the testifying experts was also on that panel. The Cooper Housing Institute invited us to the National Conference of Mayors in Washington, DC to preview BEYOND THE BRIDGE to a room of 56 people, including mayors and staffers of mayors. It was an amazing time and several mayors and staff members have reached out to plan an impact event in their cities. This video is a recap of these two events.
