Video: A very windy afternoon spotting trains at Rainham (Essex) station situated on the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway as well as trains passing adjacent on the High Speed 1 viaduct. This spot was very difficult to do with this having been filmed during the peak of Storm Gareth, so at multiple points it was a fight not to get lifted off the ground by the strong gusts of wind. Also, this was filmed during the French Customs strike in Paris, which meant a lot of Eurostars were running hours late or were just cancelled completely, some 373 diagrams were swapped out for 374s so that meant I only saw two across a span of 4 to 5 hours unfortunately... and then my camera died when the Bourg St Maurice one went past. As for action, this spot gave the most variety I have ever gotten at this location with freight not just through the station, but also on HS1 with DB 92015 in the Yiwu-London livery. This was my first time catching a freight on High Speed 1, unfortunately it was dark though which was unavoidable at the time.
