I built a guitar from scratch out of a 65 year old DOOR. FULL BUILD in a TIMELAPSE

When you want to build a guitar from scratch, good tonewood is a must. Luthiers would say that best it should be airdried for decades. When i was renovating my house, i noticed that my entrance door is made out of swietenia mahogany. Around 65 years old. Gone though everything you can throw at it. (summer heat, cold winter nights, dry and wet conditions) And my grandmother could be quite impulsive at times ;o) Smack. In short, i had the PERFECT TONEWOOD in my hands.... I built already a couple of guitars 15 years ago, and back then i was longing for this kind of wood. Then i started travelling and stayed abroad for a couple of years. Life went its way, and i never thought i will build a guitar again, in the end its EXTREMELY time consuming. But with THIS wood in my hands, and all the other parts lying around.....i couldnt resist. Just ONE more i thought. Now i m hooked again. By the time i m uploading my first video, the 2nd guitar is already finished. And i already started the 3rd.....a resin project. I have to metion that this is the first time i m putting together a video. I noticed during cutting that i need less video material (15 hours) and sometimes better views. Also better light in my workshop. Hope you can forgive me that the first video isn't the greatest. So, hope you enjoyed the video! If you have questions, i will answer them in the comments.
