Actor Aaron Waddingham, Eleanor Stewart from the Down Syndrome Resource Centre, and Dr. Kathryn Garforth have teamed up to dispel some of the common myths related to Down Syndrome. In this video, you will learn why the statement isn’t true as well as truths about individuals with Down Syndrome. Aaron Waddingham is currently in grade twelve and a professional actor. He is the youngest of five children and lives in Burnaby with his mom and dad. He likes Fortnite, YouTube, cooking and wants to be the Down Syndrome Deadpool when he grows up. You can follow him on Instagram @aaron.waddingham Eleanor Stewart is the Director of Education Programs and Services at the Down Syndrome Resource Foundation and holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology. She collaborates with schools to design reading interventions for school-aged individuals with Down Syndrome and helps educators to implement these programs in the school setting.
