For every opportunity to grace a stage, and use my talent to bless, educate and entertain audiences, I’m deeply grateful. It is always a delight to represent the rich Yoruba culture in foreign land✨ I express my profound gratitude to the leadership and to the committee members of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee of the Hong Kong Metropolitan University HKMU for the privilege to perform my folk song - Sise (work) at the just concluded DEI event. The song is based on a traditional Yoruba folklore which advocates that working hard and smart is the antidote for poverty. The song encourages listeners to add some extra to their work, as extra work often results in extra pay. The song closes by boldly submitting that you are your own competition, admonishing listeners to fan their flames, up their games, ditch the shame and live up to themselves - full potentials.
