Touch Responsive Augmented Violin Interface System. With an "artificial string", fx presets, and live recording/playback capabilities. I used pizz so that it is visually more obvious for how the interface was controlling the sound. When I started this channel, I posted videos on both highland dance and violin, hence the name "HighlandViolinist". But, as I progressed through university, I became more involved in music technology, interactive computer music performance (with Max MSP), and constructing new Digital Musical Instruments (DMIs) with Arduinos and sensors. As I evolved as an artist and academic researcher, so has my YouTube channel. Instead of having multiple channels for each topic, I have this one channel that has a little bit of everything that I enjoy and I have organized my videos into playlists based on the topic.
