Husky Road Trip VLOG: Heading to the Super Pet Expo!

Pack your bags and grab the leashes because we are hitting the road for an epic adventure! Today, we are loading up Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor and heading out of Michigan just before a massive winter storm hits. Our destination? The Super Pet Expo in Manassas, Virginia! We weren't sure if we could fit everything into the trailer, but with a little Tetris magic, we made it work. Life is short, so we are making memories with our dogs on this cross-country travel day. Throughout the drive, we experienced some wild weather swings—starting in the freezing cold and hitting 77°F by the time we reached Ohio! We made some fun stops along the way, including a hunt for Chester’s Chicken (which turned into dog-hair-seasoned cheese sticks) and our favorite traditional road trip meal, Pi-Way. The girls were such troopers in the car, especially Memphis, who handled the long drive like a total pro. Once we arrived at our dog-friendly Hilton Home2 Suites, it was time for the "official" hotel floor check and the hilarious struggle of setting up the dog beds. Watching Memphis get slowly lifted by the self-inflating mattress was definitely the highlight of the night! We are resting up and getting ready for the final leg of our trip tomorrow. HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR DAY ❄️ Checking the ice on the pool before the big winter storm hits Michigan. 📦 The ultimate trailer packing challenge to fit all the husky gear. ⛽ A quick pit stop for gas, potty breaks, and a very "hairy" cheese stick. 🌡️ Watching the temperature jump from 40 degrees to 77 degrees in just one hour! 🍕 Picking up our favorite Pi-Way dinner for a hotel room picnic. 🏨 The traditional "hotel floor check" to make sure the room is husky-ready. 🛏️ Memphis getting "sucked in" and lifted up by her self-inflating travel bed. 🏒 Ending the night with some hockey, spicy pizza, and a husky sleepover.
