THE BLACK CAT Musical Selections

This is a compilation of classical music selections (mostly portions) that were excerpted and adapted by Heinz Roemheld for his score to THE BLACK CAT. The only vintage recording in this compilation is the period disc of the jazz piece heard in the train compartment in the first reel. NOTE - The final selection in this compilation, Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet", was not used in THE BLACK CAT. Since the work was still copyrighted, Roemheld created a sound-alike melody for his "Cat Love" theme. But inasmuch as "Romeo" was clearly the inspiration for the love theme, I've included it herein. This is NOT a score recreation but a "playlist".
