Sylenth is not one of those synths. In this day and age where synth programming is easier than ever, some users might feel slighted, but I actually like having to create vibrato in Sylenth because it usually turns out great! You need to use one of the LFO's in Sylenth to create a vibrato effect. Here's how you can do it. 1.) Select a rate of about 1/4, 1/8 or 1/16 for LFO 1. Turn the gain up about half way. 2.) In the drop down box under the LFO 1 section select PITCH AB or the Pitch that would correspond to your sound. 3.) Turn the little rotary knob to about .10 or .19. At this point you will start to hear vibrato in Sylenth. To make the vibrato in Sylenth even more musical, you can take this process a step further. In one of the MOD ENVELOPES select the LFO Gain and apply it by boosting the corresponding rotary knob to about 2 or 2.5. Now boost the knob for the Attack in the MOD ENV. This will tell Sylenth to turn on the LFO after some time has passed in the attack stage of the ADSR. This helps keep your mixes tighter because too much vibrato at the start of a lead can create dissonance with other tonal sounds like basses.
