Though unlike usual, this bus did not start its run at early morning around 5 or 6am, but instead 10am. For some reason the regular XDE40 on the run was not able to provide service, so this relief operator pulled out a BEB from the yard instead. Coincidentally, on this day (April 7th, 2025) there were already 3 BEBs (5005, 5007, 5010) on the 29, and this became the 4th. I love the 29 a lot especially when the bus is not too crowded. We were ahead of schedule upon getting into the Sunset District, and very close to the bus ahead. As more passengers getting off, the bus got nearly empty after 25th & Geary.
