Quick Update Bonnie & I are just finishing the most amazing week of our lives. We were invited to teach the Book of Revelation for one week, on Patmos the Island--where it all began. Wow. What an experience as the strong winds howl across this island. At night in the professor's retreat center where we are staying, the wind blows so strongly around the doors and windows, and they vibrate so loudly--it is even hard to sleep. That makes us think of all the elderly Apostle John went through. It is cold, damp, windy, and very barren on this island. We have covered most of the 13 square miles top to bottom in our free time to take our students to all the possible places John may have been. This cave may be our favorite spot. I read Revelation 2 and 3 aloud to the students and we pondered all that the Lord really wants from us each day which is simply to Follow Him & Please Him. Hope that is what EACH of us desires today!
