It is completely FREE to use and will save you lot of money over the long run if you typically shop online. Between the coupons and the cash back you get, it adds up to quite a bit of savings every time I buy something online. In order to get the cash back and the benefits of the coupons, you need to make sure you go directly to www.rakuten.com and search from there your item you are looking to buy or the store you are looking to buy it from. If you forget to go the Rakuten website, no worries. Just make sure when you sign up for Rakuten that you install the browser plugin, which I show how to get in the video or download the app to your phone if you typically shop from your phone. Rakuten even works with Amazon on occasion. Typically, it is usually impossible to get cash back shopping at Amazon, but make sure to check out Rakuten's website frequently before shopping on Amazon, as the amount of cash back does change often. Or you can just go straight to Amazon here: https://amzn.to/30h6QZk and use the cash back button in your browser once you get to the store. Rakuten also has a cash back app which is free to use and download. This way if you shop a lot from you phone you can still get the cash back through the app. Another bonus to using the app is it allows you to get in-store cash back while shopping at the actual store instead of online! Once you have built up enough cash back in your account (needs to be $5 or more to get paid) Rakuten will automatically pay you your cash back balance once every quarter, 4 times per year.
