Instagram: / exploringwithquinnton This video is an old one, it is from my old urbex channel and was a blast to film exploring this location. Unfortunately, we could not get back in to record the video again so I decided to reupload the footage from the first two times we went into the orphanage. Expect Day 2 to be going up next Sunday! In today's video, I will be exploring St Josephs Orphanage in Preston, Lancashire. The building was built in 1872 and was both an orphanage and a hospital that treated soldiers during the first and second world wars and is also know to be the death place of Singer George Formby who died in the hospital in 1961. I mention in the video that my nana actually used to work in both of the buildings and said that there had been reports of Poltergeist activity on the third floor and also terrifying apparitions. The building closed to the public in 1984 but was used as a care home until 2003 and ever since it has been in a state of decay and abandonment... until we came to explore!
