If you are a desktop user then this isn't a terrible option... but its expensive! It costs.. $69 with no bluetooth So if you like to use a laptop on the go... or you own a MacBook.. you are either going to have to tie up one of your laptops USB ports with the receiver or you will need an accessory with you at all times. If you often switch between multiple computers, forget about this mouse, there are better options for the same price if not cheaper, which ill get into at the end of this video. The 3 year battery life is what earns this mouse the Marathon name but its going to cost you more batteries compared to its competitors if you think about it.. Its successor the M720 Triathlon mouse only has a two year battery life but it only requires 1 AA, the Marathon takes 2 AA's which will last you 3 years, extrapolated over 6 years, you will have used 4 batteries in the Marathon and only 3 batteries in the Triathlon. so if changing your battery every 2 years was too much work for you.. don't worry you can go 3 years with the Marathon, it'll just cost you an extra battery! This mouse is great for a desktop user, or an office setting where the mouse never leaves the work station. Its comfortable and simple enough for any employee to sit down and get to work, and the infinite scroll wheel is a bonus.If you are a mobile laptop/multi device user, then id recommend going with something that has bluetooth. For example, Logitech's M720 Triathlon, excellent mouse which I am currently using and its on sale for $40.. did a full review on that mouse, Ill post it here!
