Welcome back to WVU Extension Today! For our February episode, we'll give you an inside look at some of of the happenings within Safety and Health Extension. We'll kick things off with Mark Lambert, WVU Extension Fire Service Director, for some insights into all things Fire Service Extension. Mark will cover things like cutting-edge mobile fire training, aircraft rescue firefighting simulations, Junior Firefighter Camp and more. Next, we join Pat Donnelly, a field researcher for the Timber Safe Network Program, on a live logging site for a firsthand look at how Timber Safe identifies and mitigates hazards in logging operations, ultimately saving lives and preventing accidents.
