Moving and cleaning up the family home/taking a break on the veranda.

I have been visiting my family's vacant house for four years, and I have finally decided to move back in. It's a decision made at the ages of 68 and 72. In addition to managing the family home, there is also the matter of the abandoned farmland that I wanted to live in someday, which has now become a reality. Although living in the countryside is a first for my husband, I am thinking positively that a lifestyle close to nature is also good for our health. I hope to be able to introduce our life in the old farmhouse. Before the move, there is the task of cleaning up the family home. Things that I had put off for some time suddenly became urgent. While tidying up books and magazines and peering into old chests and bookshelves, I found some precious treasures of mine. There were childhood essays, nostalgic stuffed animals, and high school notebooks, which made my heart skip a beat. The cleanup is still a long way from being finished, but I am very excited to see what kind of life will begin.
