After exploring Santa Cruz, San Francisco, and crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, we continue east toward some of the most spectacular scenery in the American West. We revisit Yosemite Valley, take in iconic views of El Capitan, Half Dome, and Tunnel View, and cross nearly 10,000 ft of elevation at Tioga Pass. From there, we drive the legendary US-395 Eastern Sierra Scenic Byway, spotting Mount Whitney, the tallest peak in the lower 48. But the adventure doesn’t stop there… RV troubles force us to improvise, adapt, and keep the trip moving as we enter the extreme heat of Death Valley National Park, the lowest point in North America, before finally making our way back to Las Vegas.
