Paddling the Briançon Gorge (La Fontenil). While setting up the shuttle, the dam in the beginning released all its water to clean the intakes. This happens every two weeks, and sometimes more frequently if necessary. At 2:29, there's an outlet where you should stop and check. If a lot of water is coming out of the outlet, you should portage on the river right. In Briançon, there's a small dam or ledge that could create a nasty hole at higher water levels.
