It was chosen by a panel of judges that included Rouge One: A Star Wars Story's director Gareth Edwards, executive producer John Knoll of Industrial Light & Magic, and co-producer John Swartz. All of the Stormtrooper costumes were made using EVA foam, athletic mats, and pepakura patterns. 2.) The stormtrooper costumes were purposely made to look bulky and damaged in order to give the stormtroopers a more intimidating appearance. 3.) The short film took approximately 7 months to complete. 4.) In the film TK-436 supposedly has a beta model Helmet, complete with functional cheek filters (inspired by the First Order helmets) and advanced HUD capabilities.
