What's up Team! I remember this day...it was a cooold walk lol. But! I built up more warmth and energy going through my body every step I took. And I ended up enjoying a longer walk than I anticipated, which also led to more yapping for the vlog lmao...I just be needing to talk it out sometimes yall, as the young people say....lemme cook! LOL Enjoy the walk, the words of reflection, a nutrition hack, and some upper body workout ideas in this one. On this vlog journey, I'm gonna show you how I'm really feeling during the workouts. I'm not interested in cutting out the parts when I'm tired, forget to take off my glasses, changing weight on a machine mid-set that's too heavy for me, etc. Most strength training sessions, I feel a bit cognitively slower and weaker in my movements than I did in my early-mid 20s. I've learned that I have a neurological condition called functional neurological disorder. This condition manifests differently in all cases and symptoms can also change day by day. You'll see these manifestations in my videos. If I look out of breath doing something you deem low intensity, or maybe you notice that I've developed some pretty significant asymmetries in my movement patterns /facial expressions...orrr maybeee you might notice I'm not as accurate or coordinated as you'd desire a strength coach to be...a lot of this can be attributed to by my condition.
