Part 2:    • (29/8/2015) Citybus #198 Leyland Olym...   --------------------------------------------------------------- Chassis: Leyland Olympian 11m, 3-axle Body: Alexander R-type, 94-seater coach, air-conditioned Engine: Cummins LT10, 10014cc, 245bhp Gearbox: ZF Ecomat 4HP500 Route: 88R to Central (Part 1: City One Shatin to Kowloon Bay) --------------------------------------------------------------- Citybus route 88R, or Residents' Service route NR88, runs between City One Shatin and Central everyday since early 90's. It is one of the two surviving routes in the shrinking Citybus Residents' Service network. Leyland Olympian coaches have been the mainstay of Citybus' non-franchised fleet in the last two decades, until the introduction of Volvo Olympians withdrawn from franchised routes. Although they are more than 23 years old now, they still perform well and provide a sense of comfort to passengers on board - mostly residents living there, but also bus enthusiasts who love the bus type. After all, there are only 5 Leyland Olympians left in public service in Hong Kong! Enjoy the video! The sound should be nice thanks to the external mic used.
