Our first full day exploring Lombok we had set our eyes on visiting at least one of the many waterfalls however we chose the nearest one which ended in a dead end and since all other waterfalls on the map seemed quite a long drive away we decided to give these a miss with the intention of coming back one day. With that freeing up our afternoon we went beach hopping along the north western coast finding one stunning beach after another. We drove up to the port where the ferries go to the Gili islands to inform ourselves on price and availability, the public speed boats go every hour 9am-4pm. We finished the day back at our new favourite Nipah beach for sunset and more tasty food. The super friendly locals and chill vibes have made this trip so special, we will definitely come back sometime.
