Hey howdy hey how is everybody doing and welcome back to Disney Daily Today I have a short, fun and historical video for you. Now for those who may not know, Disneyland has had its fair share of changes over the years. Whether it be the characters costumes, the attractions or the unforgettable shows and parades. And while most of the changes seem to be for the better, there are some changes that in my opinion took some of the magic out of park. One of those being the real mermaids of the submarine voyage lagoon who used to greet guests at one point in Disney history. In today's video we are going to focus on the mermaids and why they no longer exist at Disneyland In the year 1959, Disneyland was preparing to debut its newest ride the submarine voyage in the futuristic section of the park that we know to be Tomorrowland. But this ride was one of a kind because it was going to feature real life mermaids #disneyland #disney #mermaids
