If you went or are going through hell with this update watch or skim and see what I did to make this work. Yes talking to DJI support too during this. Long story short DJI has not made this smart controller firmware update very simple. I will explain what I learned by trial and error and lots of research online after many failed attempts. Just a rough quick edit so others can hopefully learn and avoid the countless failed attempts at updating my Smart Controller firmware to work with my Mavic Air 2. Mind u I’m caring for my Mom with dementia so don’t have tons of spare time to fine tune so simply putting my experience out there to hopefully learn from a bit. Basically this update was a royal pain in the butt and finally got the update to go through. DJI appears to be having server issues which may be a cause of this mess and apparently escalated it to their engineers.
