ECR 2019 Opening Ceremony (FULL)

To celebrate the ECR's 25th congress anniversary in Vienna in style, the former traditional opening ceremony was completely ‘refurbished’, so to say, and in its new format as a magnificent inauguration, it embodied the ECR 2019 slogan ‘the bigger picture’ and the congress’s perpetual pursuit for excellence and innovation. Furthermore, a specific motto for the Grand Opening – ‘Five Senses’ was chosen. The five senses permeate the whole Grand Opening; special scents have been created to set a unique atmosphere; the eyes are entertained with a spectacular stage & light design by the brilliant visual artist Amra Bergman; and there is music throughout, reflecting the dignitaries’ favourite tunes.
