What can I do in smooth 2-3 km/h hardly noticeable wind?!? To have Fun with the new Funtastik FR (Full-wind-Range) and explore new tricks! Please, read the description below and tell me your opinion. Have you ever seen some of these moves? Can you recommend better names? 0:06 - Flaps or Flapping - I started doing this trick almost a year a ago but I don't make it very often because the wind should be smooth. Can be performed in medium wind too. It's like descending Half-Axels (actually Quarter Axels) but without pitch the kite. The flapping hand should keep tension on the line for more dramatic look. Always keep pressure on the sail. 0:52 - Raising Slots - Half Slots can be done on horizontal line but when you climb the kite on Zig-Zag pattern looks more Fun. 1:26 - Parachute Landing - Give tiny more slack in downwind glide and the kite will stall in flair (pancake or nose-away). Try to maintain this position (Parachute Stall) and the kite will be dragged by the wind and descent like a parachute. 1:33 - Parachute CoinToss/TipLanding - It's easy to see when exactly the kite stalls from downwind glide. 1:56 - Lifter Fade / Fade Lifter - Popping the kite like doing lifter will help you "rise the fade" in very low wind. 2:29 - Half Flic-Flacs / Fliks - Downwind glide to pancake, than tension the lines to make the spine vertical, than lower the tension for pancake again. The hand's movement should be precise in order to not over-rotate the kite. If the kite is well adjusted the Fliks can end in different spine angles and can be done fast or slow. 2:50 - Flik 2-point Landing 3:00 - Flik CoinToss 3:30 - Here the idea was to shake the kite in all 3 axis. On the video it's not very clear. 3:38 - Parachute Stall to Fade - I was experimenting to see for how long I can keep the kite in pancake before pull for Fade.... like Delayed Fade Average wind speed: 2-3 km/h pilot: kostaaa kite: Funtastik FR (Full-wind-Range) spot: Athens, Greece music: Sacred Spirit - Lay Down GoKiting! http://gokiting.gr
