Residents of Pape-Sango have strongly asserted that the land earmarked for the project rightfully falls under Pape Panchayat jurisdiction—not Ressing village, as currently indicated in official records. According to the aggrieved community members, the project area includes 23,300 Component-I land, which they claim is part of Pape community land but has been erroneously listed under Ressing village.
