JAI Finance Park: A System-Wide Financial Literacy Solution for Second Level Students in Ireland

JAI Finance Park is Junior Achievement Ireland's flagship financial literacy programme. It aims to address the fact that over 50% of Irish adults are financially illiterate. The programme is a mix of an in-person class where students develop theory by learning about budgeting and personal choices which is followed then by an online simulation so they can explore the impact of their financial decisions. Having already impacted over 2,000 students JAI Finance Park is set to scale even further thanks to support of the New Solutions Innovation Fund. This investment will enable us to develop a dual delivery model combining volunteer-led sessions with a teacher-facilitated pathway ensuring broader and more sustainable access to financial literacy education.
