Here is some background information about the song: I was rewatching Avatar - The Last Airbender and I was wondering how Aang’s edited voice which was used when he was in the avatar state was made. After some experimenting I discovered that it was just his real voice layered with the same sample pitched down seven semitones. I searched my sample library for a nice vocal sample and I stumbled upon a sample of a woman screaming “It’s driving me insane”. I felt like it was a perfect starting point for this song. The harmonic scale turned out to be a nice foundation to set a kind of dangerous vibe. Some days before I started writing this song there was this offer to get Native Instrument’s Hybrid Keys for free. I used one of the mallet presets in this song.
