What was Bosch on about? These Things are awesome and ARE useful for us! THEY HAVE FISH!!! Enter THE Towering Gribbet, a Far Shore Mini-Boss you can Fight in the Mod Into The Abyss (BETA)! The Towering Gribbet is a Size Four Enemy with 120 Red Health while having Skittish, Alt Attacks (Psychoactive Residues & Auto-Brewery Syndrome), and the Bonus Attack Sights of Beyond as Passives. Despite having an absurdly large Movepool, half of their Abilities are nearly the same, as the first Four Abilities will Apply Frail to 3 Party Members that are Opposing the Towering Gribbet while dealing Damage to 1 Party Member that is in a specific Position Opposing the Towering Gribbet. Their Alt Attacks will either Convert the Party's Frail or Tired into Scars. If they Converted Frail into Scars, the Towering Gribbet will slightly heal itself. If it attempts to Convert Tired into Scars, but fails to do so, will inflict Tired to the Party Members. When a Party Member is Tired, any Damage OR Healing they do will be halved. Party Members can only lose Tired if they did not manually perform an Ability for a Turn. Finally, their Bonus Attack, Sights of Beyond will remove Free Will from all Party Members and if successful, remove all Frail and Scars from those Party Members, but they will be inflicted with Tired in return. It will then apply Free Will to the Party Member that is NOT Opposing the Towering Gribbet. Far Shore + Mini-Boss is a scary combo to face as the Far Shore is the "Early Game" of one's Run, so players usually have little resources such to few Party Members and Items and might not even have a cohesive strategy built up. However, unlike other Far Shore Mini-Bosses such as the Kekapex, The Prized Catch, and the Vus is that the Towering Gribbet is actually better to face with an average to smallish Team. The best approach for this Mini-Boss is to avoid the Position where the Towering Gribbet is Damaging while playing around it's Skittish, which basically makes it move Left and Right back and forth (or vice versa). In terms of what's the best way to Fight the Towering Gribbet is fairly simple: either use AOE Attacks and/or Ruptured based Abilities to take it out. Funny enough, Kleiver fits this description perfectly with their Purify Ability! Honorable mentions includes Boyle and Griffin with Clobber and Wallop, and Anton, Thype, and Shelly K. with their Shank and Brawl Ability to inflict Ruptured. Upon defeating the Towering Gribbet, you'll be rewarded with 5 Items, 4 of which being Fish Items and 1 Shop Item.
