hey all I was wondering if you can get the scarab gun without using anything beside yourself, no banshees, no boxes, no vehicles, no pelican. Just the 2 spartans and the 1 nade spawn. an yes, it is possible. Prepare for some intense video of me getting the scarab gun on foot. (Grumpy pick up your popcorn and take something to drink ) I went from the very bottom to the scarab gun itself. I used 3 techniques to get there: 1 self partnerbouncing 2 FRAG (read: suck) grenadepiles 3 crazy cornerrides The partnerbounce thing is pretty insane the way i did it, first i'll explain the partnerbounce for those who dont know: You can bounce on gridlines and edges by doing the following: p1 jumps on p2's head. p1 jump, a certain time later p2 jumps, p1 jumps again, so its a double jump. p1 hold forward and land on the edge. Sounds easy? well if you have a second player to double jump you... ...well I don't need a second player. I can handle both controllers and do the bounce 1 out of 1-2 tries I put the 2nd controller on my stomach, I hold the 1st controller 7 cm above it and with the pink of my right hand i tap the A button of the 2nd controller ^_^ =) For some parts of the climb I needed grenade piles, when I made one I need a cp so i let p2 cornerride down multiple times for the checkpoint anyway it is an amazing vid and you should really watch it 10 minutes long 64 mb, Very high quality (94% of original) I hope you enjoy it
